Sons of Tangaroa brings together passionate and positive Spearo’s for epic spearfishing adventures and to promote this sustainable method of harvesting seafood. The club culture includes Manaakitanga (reciprocal hospitality), Kaitiakitanga (guardianship and conservation), inclusiveness and subsistence and sustainable spearfishing.

A recent import from the mainland, Lincoln Loves to harass the odd Tahr and occasional Kingfish.
He works for a bank so we figured he can probably use a calculator and as such should be treasurer.
EVENTS & MERCH
Felipe's a seasoned surfer and a new spearo who's had more adventures in his first two SOT trips than most have in a year; from the roughest conditions for a comp ever (Whanga 2018) to getting sharked at the Merc's, it's all happening except fish action, but that is imminent!
FAST ON FACEBOOK
Nick is a keen spearo, hunter and cook. He has been spearing for a couple of years now and loves the culture, challenge and rewards of spearfishing.
He can also use a computer (just) so we made him be the comms person.
Having done most his spearfishing in Australia Cade is loving getting to know the NZ waters.
Hes also a budding speargun builder so if you fancy giving it a go he's the man to talk to.
